Larceny, Fraud Keep Police Busy

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS THURSDAY, MAY 19, 2011

LARCENY:

600 block Denton Cir, May 10, 12 p.m. A resident reported that she loaned her computer to a friend and he has repeatedly refused to return it. The investigation is ongoing.

Kohls, 1571 Carl D Silver Pkwy, May, 18 5 p.m. A loss prevention employee reported that a male subject concealed an item of merchandise and left the store without paying for it. The employee was able to identify the male through a previous transaction at the customer service counter. A warrant was obtained for Steven Elliott, 50, of unknown address charging him with felony shoplifting. Elliott had not been arrested by the time of this report.

Kohls, 1571 Carl D Silver Pkwy, May 18, 3 p.m. A loss prevention employee reported that a female subject removed an appliance from the shelf and then exchanged it at the customer service counter for a store credit. The investigation is ongoing.
