Man Charged with Felony Shoplifting from River Run Antiques

Fredericksburg Police incident report of April 5, 2013. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

LARCENY:
River Run Antiques, 925 Caroline St, 4/4 11:15 a.m. The manager observed a male subject concealing items and removing them from the store. The manager noted the description of the suspect and the suspect vehicle and he contacted police.

On Amaret Street, an officer stopped a vehicle matching the description provided, and the stolen items were recovered from the driver. Thomas Fauntleroy, 44, of Spotsylvania was arrested and charged with felony shoplifting. Fauntleroy was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a $1000 bond.

LARCENY:
200 block Hazel Ridge Ct, 4/4 1:45 p.m. A resident reported that he witnessed a male subject walking through his back yard and then stealing his bicycle. The victim ran outside and attempted to stop the suspect but he was unable to do so. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a tan sweater, blue jeans, and sunglasses. The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:
Citgo, 2005 Lafayette Blvd, 4/4 10:00 p.m. The owner reported that a male subject threw a wooden block through the front window. The investigating officer was able to identify the suspect by viewing the surveillance video, and a warrant was obtained for Randolph Harris, 52, of Fredericksburg charging him with felony destruction of property. Harris had not been arrested by the time of this report.

DUI ARRESTS:
Christopher Wilson, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI and refusal to submit to a blood or breath test in the 500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

ARRESTS:
Robert Fauntleroy, 47, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.

Mildred McCarthy, 46, of Spotsylvania was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Charles Minor, 33, of Fredericksburg was arrested for failure to comply with a court order.
