Police: Man Shot, Killed on Howard Avenue
Police responded to a call for shots fired in the 1900 block of Howard Ave.
Fredericksburg police responded for reports of gunfire in the 1900 block of Howard Ave. just after 2:30 Sunday morning. "Officers arriving on the scene found an adult male deceased in the street," said Natatia Bledsoe, Fredericksburg Police public information office. The victim had been shot.
"The victim has been identified, but his name will not be released until his family is notified," Bledsoe said.
Detectives are actively pursuing the investigation.
