Man Jailed for Stray Bullet

The City of Fredericksburg Police Department provided this information. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

400 block Chadwick Ct, 5/2 9:20 p.m. A resident reported that she heard a gunshot and later discovered a bullet hole through the wall of a bedroom on the second floor.

The responding officer found the spent round lodged in a wall inside the bedroom closet. The investigation led to a home across the street from the victim and the resident there, Antonio Robinson, 29, was arrested for reckless discharge of a firearm and illegal discharge of a firearm within the city
limits.

Robinson was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a $2500 bond. The weapon was recovered from Robinson’s home and secured for evidence.

LARCENY:
1000 block Bakersfield Ln, 5/1 – 5/2 1:30 p.m. A resident reported that her iPod was stolen from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Old Walker Grant, 200 Gunnery Rd, 4/24 – 5/2 3:30 p.m. A coach reported that a lacrosse goal post was stolen from the practice field. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Ashley Furniture, 1845 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 5/2 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. An employee reported that his bicycle was stolen from the rear of the store. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:
Haley Fitzgerald, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 900 block of Lafayette Boulevard.

Jason Gaioni, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 1900 block of Princess Anne Street.

Stephen Meadows, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI and possession of a concealed weapon without a permit in the 900 block of College Avenue.

ARRESTS:
Michael Butler, 38, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of a protective order.

Mark Teetz, 38, of Woodbridge was arrested for public intoxication.
