Man Points Gun During Rt. 3 Road Rage Incident

The incident occurred as a driver was merging from I-95.

A Locust Grove resident was threatened with a gun during a road rage incident Monday evening, Fredericksburg Police reported.

The man told police he was merging onto Plank Road (Rt. 3) from I-95 about 6 p.m. when a Jeep cut in front of him.  When he responded with a hand gesture, the male passenger in the Jeep pointed a handgun at him.

The passenger was described as a thin white male in his 20s wearing a beanie hat. The investigation is ongoing.
