Robbers Stab Victim When They Find He Has No Money
The crime occurred outside the victim's home at the Fall Hill Apartments.

A 22-year-old man was stabbed outside his apartment in the 200 block of Greystone Ct., during an attempted robbery on Jan. 16.
At about 6:30 p.m. three men allegedly approached the victim and taunted him verbally. "One of the unknown subjects reportedly pointed a gun at the victim, then started going through his pockets in an attempt to steal from him," said Fredericksburg Police spokesperson Natatia Bledsoe.

"After realizing the victim didn’t have any cash, one of the suspects stabbed the victim in the back before all three fled from the scene."
The victim was transported by ambulance to Mary Washington Hospital for treatment of his injuries, which included a partially collapsed lung.

The three suspects were described as black males; two were wearing hoodies and the one armed with a gun was reportedly wearing a mask.
The investigation is ongoing.
