Masked Robber Punches Woman in the Face
Victim assaulted at 2:10 a.m. Friday, according to Fredericksburg City Police.
A masked man punched a local woman in the face during a robbery early Friday, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department.
The victim, 25, told police that she was returning home from work in the 500 block of Charlotte Street at 2:10 a.m. Friday.
She was getting out of her car when she was approached by an unknown man who punched her in the face. After she fell to the ground, the man grabbed her purse and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot.
The victim suffered bruises from the assault, but no other injuries. There was no description of the suspect, since he was wearing a mask.
