Police: 11 Regional Robberies May Be Linked

Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

City of Fredericksburg, Prince William County and Fairfax County Police are  investigating nearly a dozen robberies that have taken place around the region since August and may be linked.

The are two suspects, both considered armed and dangerous. 

The first suspect is described as a black male, 20 - 26 years-of-age, 5’8”- 6’1”, 150-190 pounds, dark skin, seen at the Shell Station robbery in Fredericksburg wearing all black clothing and a gray baseball cap. He was armed with a black handgun.


The second suspect is described as a black male, 20 - 26 years of age, 5’8”-6’0”, 150-170 pounds, dark skin, seen at the Shell Station robbery in Fredericksburg wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

  • Aug. 9, 2013, 7:12 p.m. – Sunoco Service Station – 1260 Annapolis Way, Woodbridge
  • Aug. 12, 2013, 2:20 p.m. – Shell Service Station – 3186 River Heritage Blvd, Dumfries
  • Aug. 21, 2013, 9:09 p.m. – KFC – 1307 Devils Reach Rd, Woodbridge
  • Aug. 22, 2013, 1:07 p.m. – 7 Eleven – 14820 Cloverdale Rd, Woodbridge
  • Sept. 6, 2013, 2:18 p.m. – 7 Eleven – 12520 Gordon Blvd, Woodbridge
Incidents in Fairfax County:
  • Aug. 12, 2013 – 7-Eleven – 8146 Old Mount Vernon Rd., Alexandria
  • Aug. 21, 2013 – 7-Eleven – 2305 Huntington Ave., Alexandria
  • Aug. 22, 2013 – (Attempt strong arm robbery of citizen) – 6300 Backlick Rd., Springfield
  • Aug. 24, 2013 – 7-Eleven – 7225 Old Keene Mill Rd., Springfield
The Fairfax County Police Department has posted surveillance video of the suspects.

Store employees and customers should be cautious of anyone wearing clothing unusual for the weather conditions and report any suspicious activity, police said.  Citizens should not approach the suspects, but instead immediately call 9-1-1.
