Police Charge Four in Reported Fight, Stabbing

Police initially responded for reports of a loud altercation.

Police responded to reports of a loud altercation in a parking lot in the 200 block of Goldenleaf Court on Wednesday at 9:40 p.m. Police found three men, two of whom are brothers, fighting.

"One of the brothers had been stabbed in the chest and hand with a small knife during the struggle, however he was checked by EMS personnel and he denied the need for transport to the hospital," said a City of Fredericksburg police release.

All three subjects were taken into custody without incident.

Fredericksburg police said that Rakim Pettus, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for felonious assault and disorderly conduct; he was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional under no bond.

Brothers Kevin Poole, 23, and Michael Johnson, 25, both of Spotsylvania, were arrested for misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct, according to Fredericksburg police. Poole and Johnson were both released on summons.

"During the investigation, a female became very disruptive and refused to obey the officers’ commands to cease her shouting and return to her apartment," said a City of Fredericksburg police report.

Sentoria Poole, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice; she was also incarcerated under a $1,000 bond. The knife and other evidence were collected at the scene.
