Police: BB Gun Bullet Shattered Window as Driver Passed By

It was the second incident of a shattered window in the same neighborhood Thursday night, according to Fredericksburg City Police.

The window of a vehicle appears to have been shot out by a BB gun while the victim was driving, according to Fredericksburg City Police.
Officers responded to the 2200 block of Idlewild Bouldevard at 10 p.m. Thursday. The victim, a Spotsylvania resident, told police that she was driving in the area when the window was shattered.
The damage was consistent with that caused by a BB shot, according to a Fredericksburg Police release.

Earlier in the same evening, officers responded to the 1600 block of Gayle Terrace, not far from the other incident. A woman reported that an unknown person had shattered a window on her vehicle. There were no witnesses to that incident.Other Fredericksburg City Police reports for Friday, April 18.

900 block Caroline St, 4/15 – 4/16 5:30 p.m. A city employee reported that an unknown person damaged two trees that were planted by Tree Fredericksburg. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

200 block Frazier St, 4/17 4:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person broke a window on her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
