Police Blotter: Larcenies and Vandalism Reported

Catalytic converter, wallet and jewelry among items reported missing.

The following larcenies and vandalism cases were reported by the City of Fredericksburg Police Department. 

Larcency:  

100 block of Wellington Lakes Drive, Sept. 3–4, 7:30 a.m. A resident reported that the catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle overnight. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

400 block of Hunter Street, Sept. 3–4, 9:15 a.m. A resident reported that her wallet and vehicle registration were stolen from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

100 block of Courtland Drive, Aug. 21–Sept. 2, 5 p.m. A resident reported that items of jewelry were stolen from her home. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Bus Station, 1400 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Sept. 4, 3:45 p.m to 6:30 p.m. A resident reported that she accidentally left a bag containing money on a FRED bus while she rode the bus to Wegmans. An employee found the bag still in the bus but the cash was missing from it. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Vandalism:

Kenmore Park, 1301 Kenmore Ave., Aug. 31, noon, A Parks and Recreation employee reported that he found graffiti spray painted on the wall of the basketball court. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

200 block of Ivanhoe Court, Sept. 3–4 2 p.m. A resident reported that her vehicle was scratched and damaged by a sharp object. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
