Police Bust Partygoers on Anderson Street

Police responded twice to a party house before gaining access inside and arresting the tenants and some of their friends.

A Fredericksburg Police report says that a warning to end the party wasn't enough for renters in the 1200 block of Anderson Street Saturday morning. The party continued until 3:50 a.m. when police had to respond a second time for a report of a fight, resulting in charges of underage drinking and summonses for the men who police say supplied the alcohol.

The police report says police arrived to the home for the first time at 12:20 a.m. after someone called about "a large party" that was underway. Police arrested three people outside the house: Hayley Perkinson, 19, of Mineral, was charged with underage possession of alcohol and Joshua Phipps, 23, of Spotsylvania County, was charged with providing alcohol to a minor. Police released both of them, but transported Mitchell Tichenor, 21, of Spotsylvania County, to the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a charge of public intoxication.

The police report says that the tenants were warned to end the party and send everyone home. But at 3:50 a.m., police returned to the house for a report of a fight. The victim said two males came to the party uninvited and assaulted him after an argument about a cellphone that had gone missing during the party. No one was injured and the two suspects were already gone when officers got to the house.

Police then gained access to the house and arrested the following people: Hunter Perkinson, 20, of Mineral, Robert Johnson, 20, of Spotsylvania, Christopher Ardiente, 18, of Spotsylvania, and Dustin Dotson, 18, of Stafford were all arrested for underage possession of alcohol and released on criminal summons to appear in court. One juvenile female was released to a parent with a referral to juvenile intake for underage possession of alcohol. Courtney Farrel, 18, of Locust Grove was arrested for underage possession of alcohol, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, providing false identification to law enforcement and public intoxication. She had been incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Zachary Goodwin, 21, and Tyler Wallace, 23, both of whom rented the house, were charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The police report says officers got consent to search Wallace's room, but he fled from the scene. Police found him later in the neighborhood and arrested him on charges of possession of marijuana and escaping police custody without force.
