Police: Bystander Claims Mystery Stab Wound After Fight Breaks Out
Victim says he isn't sure how he became injured, according to Fredericksburg Police.
A bystander at a Plank Road bar was stabbed when a fight broke out early Monday, but he isn't sure how he was injured, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department.
At 1:30 a.m. Monday, officers responded to Mary Washington Hospital for a report of a man who checked himself in with a stab wound in his torso.
"The victim reported that he was at Jay’s Lounge when a fight broke out on the dance floor," according to police spokesperson Natatia Bledsoe.
Jay's Lounge is located at 2030 Plank Road.
The victim told police that he didn't know the individuals who were fighting and he wasn't sure how he became injured, according to Bledsoe.
