Police: Guns Stolen From Car, Antique Radios Stolen From Storage Unit

Fredericksburg Police are investigating new burglaries and larcenies, according to the daily incident report for Wednesday, May 14.

A Spotsylvania resident contacted police on Tuesday evening to report that, sometime in the last two months, an unknown person had broken into his storage unit in the 300 block of Central Road. Several antique radios and other valuable items were stolen.

At 9 p.m., officers responded to Paragon Gymnastics at 1410 Central Park Blvd. A Spotsylvania resident told police that, sometime after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, an unknown person stole firearms from his vehicle in the parking lot.

Larceny:

James Monroe High School, 2300 Washington Ave, 5/12 4:00 p.m. A student reported that an unknown person stole his iPhone from a locker room. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

Mary Washington Hospital, 1001 Sam Perry Blvd, 5/13 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A patient reported that an unknown person stole a quantity of cash from her wallet. The investigation is ongoing. 

Vandalism:

1400 block Preserves Ln, 5/6 – 5/13 12:00 p.m. A project manager reported that an unknown person damaged the electrical box controlling the gate to the construction entrance. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
