Police: Restaurant Safe Stolen

Fredericksburg Police Incidents, April 22-23, 2014.

A safe was discovered stolen from an area restaurant Monday morning, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department.

A manager at Jake & Mike's, 806 William Street, contacted police after it appears an unknown person entered the business and stole a safe.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.

BREAKING & ENTERING: 

200 block Greystone Ct, 4/20 - 4/21 10:30 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person gained entry to her apartment. Nothing appeared to be stolen. The investigation is ongoing. 

UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 

1000 block Railroad Ave, 4/22 6:00 a.m. – 6:15 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered her home through a window. Nothing appeared to be stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY: 

900 block Sylvania Ave, 4/20 - 4/21 8:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole the front license plate from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

800 block Caroline St, 4/19 - 4/21 2:45 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole the front license plate from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

Firestone, 2708 Fall Hill Ave, 4/22 10:50 a.m. A manager reported that a white male stole two tires from the service area and left the scene in a tan Buick Century. The investigation is ongoing.
