Police: Several Tiaras, Jewelry and Work Truck Stolen

Investigators are searching for clues in the weekend burglary of two businesses on Lafayette Boulevard, according to the Fredericksburg City Police.

At 4 a.m. Sunday, an off-duty deputy contacted police after discovering a broken side door at Kitchen Works in the 2201 Lafayette Boulevard.

When officers checked the business, they found someone had taken the keys and stolen a company vehicle.

Officers also found that a nearby business, I Thee Wed Bridal, had also been burglarized. A number of tiaras and jewelry sets were stolen, according to police.

The work truck was located Sunday evening on Farrell Lane, where it had been abandoned.
