Police: Tractor-Trailer Overturns on I-95 in the Dale City Area
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area Wednesday afternoon.
Transportation officials are asking motorists to avoid I-95's southbound lanes in the Dale City area Wednesday after a tractor-trailer accident.
Virginia State Police said that at about 10 a.m. a tractor-trailer overturned on the southbound lanes of I-95 near the 156 mile marker in Prince William County.
The truck was loaded with caulking and industrial adhesives, authorities said. There are still delays on I-95 as of 12:30 p.m. and authorities said that it may take several hours before the road is completely cleared.
No one was injured in the crash.
