Police: Two Arrested in Car Wash Robbery

Victim transported to hospital, suspects found later with wallet, according to Fredericksburg Police Department.

Two men have been arrested in the weekend robbery of a customer at a Fall Hill Avenue car wash, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department.

Reynaldo Diaz-Gonzalez, 21, of Fredericksburg is charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, possession of marijuana and public intoxication. German Perez Diaz, 23, of Fredericksburg is charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of fictitious identification. 

An officer in the area was flagged down at 8:50 p.m. Saturday when witnesses reported seeing two men steal the victim's wallet.

The victim, 25, was found unconscious in the carwash bay. He was transported to the hospital, according to police.

Using a witness description of the suspects' vehicle, officers located a Ford Explorer with the two men inside. One of the men had the victim's wallet, according to police.

Both suspects are being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
