Police: Victims Wake Up to Car Break-Ins

Four reports at Forest Village in one night, according to Fredericksburg Police Department.

Four Forest Village residents reported items stolen from their cars one morning earlier this week, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department.

All of the victims noted that they had left their cars unlocked.

One victim reported that prescription medicine had been stolen from her car. The police report only noted that "items of value" had been taken in the other three instances.

Other thefts reported Friday by the Fredericksburg police include:

  • 1400 block Sophia St, 6/4 – 6/5 2:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a lawn ornament from her front yard. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 
  • 800 block Charlotte St, 6/3 – 6/4 8:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a bicycle that had been chained to his front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
