Resident Scares Off Stereo Thief

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS MONDAY, JUNE 6, 2011

LARCENY:

HealthSouth, 300 Park Hill Dr, May 22 – May 30 6 p.m. A Medicorp employee reported that a number of tools were stolen from a company vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, May 22 9:30 p.m. – 10:15 p.m. A Spotsylvania resident reported that prescription medication was stolen from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Aladin Restaurant, 2052 Plank Rd, June 3 12:30 a.m. – 2:15 a.m. An employee reported that a male subject left the restaurant without paying his tab. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

1300 block Littlepage St, June 3 5:30 p.m. – June 4 9:30 a.m. A resident reported that a flag and flagpole were stolen from her front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, June 4 11:15 p.m. A resident reported that cash was stolen from a purse in her vehicle while she was briefly away from the car. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1200 block Brigadier Dr, June 4 1 p.m. A resident reported that he saw a male subject inside his work van tampering with his XM radio. The victim yelled at the male, and the suspect ran from the immediate area, leaving the radio hanging by wires on the dashboard. No known suspects at this time.

600 block William St, June 5 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. A Stafford resident reported that his wallet and prescription medications were stolen from his unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

1400 block Winchester St, June 2 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. A resident reported that a recently planted tree was broken in half. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

700 block Sophia St, June 3 11 p.m. – June 4 8:25 a.m. A resident reported that the rear window on his vehicle was broken. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

200 block Riverside Manor Blvd, June 3 6 p.m. – June 4 10 a.m. A resident reported that the windshield on his vehicle was broken. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Parking Garage, 600 Sophia St, June 5 12:30 a.m. Two visitors reported that the tires were slashed on their vehicles in the parking garage. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Natasia Hines, 24, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging her with shoplifting.

James Brown, 60, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication and on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court.

Mark Haigler, 38, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana, and carrying a concealed weapon, as well as on outstanding warrants from Stafford and Spotsylvania Counties charging him with failure to appear in court.

Romu Valentin, 40, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.

Jametrias Edwards, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for assault and battery.

James Parham, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging him with failure to appear in court.

James Hilliard, 57, of Spotsylvania was arrested for contractor fraud. John McMurray, 30, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.

Erich Dix, 20, of Raleigh, North Carolina was arrested for urinating in public.

Amy Mills, 31, of Spotsylvania was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Thomas Rodriguez, 45, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.

Mark Easterlin, 28, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.

Thomas Geiger, 58, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.

Michelle McCain, 24, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.
