Residents Confront Intruder

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2011

BURGLARY/BREAKING AND ENTERING:

2400 Diner, 2400 Princess Anne St, Nov. 9 9:45 a.m. – Nov. 10 6:50 a.m. Police responded to an attempted burglary and found the back door glass broken and a window screen cut. There was evidence that an unknown person had attempted to break through the locked back door but no apparent entry was made. The investigation is ongoing.

1700 block Washington Ave, Nov. 10 10:20 p.m. A resident reported that he was in his living room when an unknown male subject suddenly entered the house through the unlocked front door. The man was mumbling and was difficult to understand. A roommate came down from the second floor and the man left the house after both residents confronted him and told him they were calling police. The suspect was located a short time later on Princess Elizabeth Street by an officer who had encountered him earlier when the suspect reportedly attempted to enter residences at Hazel Hill Apartments. The two roommates on Washington Avenue were able to positively identify the suspect as the man who had entered their home. George Walker, 28, of Fredericksburg was arrested for felony breaking and entering and incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.

1000 block Julia’s Place, Oct.1 – Nov. 10 4:00 p.m. A construction superintendent reported that copper tubing and a furnace motor were stolen from an unoccupied home. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

3000 block Fall Hill Ave, Nov. 8 5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. A resident reported that her son’s handheld game system was stolen from the area of the basketball courts.    No suspects or witnesses at this time.

AT&T, 1601 Carl D Silver Pkwy, Nov. 10 5:30 p.m. An employee reported that a cell phone was stolen from the wall display. The investigation is ongoing.

7-11, 3333 Fall Hill Ave, Nov. 10 7:15 p.m. A truck driver reported that a computer printer was stolen from the back of his truck while he was delivering merchandise to the store. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Aladins, 2052 Plank Rd, Nov. 10 9:00 p.m. – Nov. 11 12:45 a.m. A King George resident reported that her purse was stolen from her vehicle in the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

2400 block Princess Anne St, Nov. 12 7:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. A Stafford resident reported that his vehicle was scratched and damaged by a sharp object. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2000 block College Ave, Nov. 13 1:00 a.m. A resident reported that one of the windows on his vehicle was smashed, and the victim heard male voices and glass breaking just prior to calling the police. No known suspects at this time.

200 block Kings Mill Ct, Nov. 12 – Nov. 13 2:25 p.m. A resident reported that two tires on her vehicle were punctured. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:

Jeffery James, 27, of Kissimmee, Florida was arrested in the 3400 block of Plank Rd.

ARRESTS:

Juvenile female, 17, was arrested for possession of marijuana.

John Hart, 25, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.

Tiffany Ashe, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for felony bad check.

Angel Miller, 18, of Culpeper was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Angela Tullos, 62, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of a protective order.

Jonathan Smith, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Ryan Miller, 32, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.

Charles Limbrick, 55, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Michael Tokarz, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.

Paul Rowane, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.

Jordan Quantock, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.

Thomas Foster, 45, of no fixed address was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
