Resident's Vehicle Stolen from Her Driveway

The City of Fredericksburg Police provided this information.

LARCENY:
1300 block White St, 6/29 1:00 a.m. – 3:25 a.m. A resident reported that her vehicle was stolen from her driveway. The victim discovered the theft when she was notified by the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s office that her vehicle had been recovered in the county. The investigation is ongoing.

1600 block Jefferson Davis Hwy, 6/27 9:30 a.m. – 11:25 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a bag of medications from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Studio A and Gallery, 1011 Princess Anne St, 6/26 – 6/28 9:00 a.m. The owner reported that an unknown person stole a painting from a hallway. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Brock’s, 503 Sophia St, 6/28 11:30 p.m. – 6/29 2:15 a.m. A patron reported that an unknown person stole her cell phone from her table. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Brock’s, 503 Sophia St, 6/27 10:30 p.m. – 6/28 1:30 a.m. A patron reported that an unknown person stole her cell phone from her purse. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1700 block Lafayette Blvd, 6/28 9:00 p.m. – 6/29 11:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole the registration decals from his license plates. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1000 block Littlepage St, 6/26 3:30 a.m. (reported 6/30) A resident reported that loose change and a flashlight were stolen from his unsecured vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY:
1900 block Howard Ave, 6/29 12:30 a.m. A 54-year-old male reported that he was outside talking with friends when an unknown male subject approached him and struck him in the face without warning. The victim fell to the ground, and the offender removed a quantity of cash from his pocket before running from the scene. The victim was treated by rescue squad personnel but he declined transport to the hospital. The suspect was described as a black male in
his mid 20s, approximately 5’8” and 175 pounds. The investigation is ongoing.

ASSAULT:
2300 block Cowan Blvd, 6/30 11:00 p.m. A 23-year-old male reported that another male subject sprayed him in the face with O.C. spray after an altercation in the parking lot of his apartment complex. A possible suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:
1300 block Dixon St, 7/1 12:05 a.m. A driver reported that an unknown person threw a beer bottle that shattered against the front of his truck as he was driving northbound. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1600 block Princess Anne St, 6/28 – 6/29 10:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person broke the front window of his house. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

300 block Riverside Dr, 6/29 11:00 a.m. An officer patrolling in the area found graffiti spray painted on trees and on a sign by the river. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

300 block Riverside Dr, 6/28 5:00 p.m. – 8:40 p.m. A Stafford resident reported that an unknown person damaged her vehicle by denting it. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2500 block Manor Dr, 6/29 – 6/30 7:25 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person scratched and damaged his vehicle with a sharp object. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

FRAUD:
Wawa, 2390 Plank Rd, 6/30 2:10 a.m. A cab driver reported that a male subject got out of his taxi and left the area without paying his fare. The subject was described as a black male in his 20’s, bald and with a goatee. No known suspects at this time.
