Robbers Bound Feet, Hands of All Pro Check Cashing Employee

Spotsylvania deputies are searching for two men who robbed All Pro Check Cashing on Plank Road this morning.

An an All Pro Check Cashing employee was opening the store this morning when he was grabbed by two criminals who bound his feet and hands with zip-ties as they robbed the safe and cash registers.

Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Capt. Mike Harvey said the robbery happened at about 9:10 this morning at the business at 3500 Plank Road. The first deputy at the scene found the employee with his hands and feet tied up.

The employee told deputies that he was unlocking the front door when a black male grabbed him and placed a gun to his back. A second male of unknown race took the keys and locked the front door. Both suspects then raided the safe and cash registers. The men then ordered the employee to the floor and they tied his hands and feet before they exited out from the back of the store.

Harvey said the employee was able to wiggle out enough space from the zip-ties to grab his cell and dial 911.

The man who had the gun was wearing a red ball cap and dark clothing. He appeared to be in his late 30s and about 5-feet 8-inches tall. The second suspect was taller and stockier and was wearing a heavy jacket with a hood that covered his face.
