Disorderly Man Leaves IHOP, Returns with Gun

Fredericksburg police incidents reported Jan. 22, 2013.

The City of Fredericksburg Police Department provided the following information. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

WEAPON VIOLATION:
IHOP, 2831 Plank Rd, 1/20 5:00 a.m. A manager reported that a group of males and females were inside the restaurant eating and causing a disturbance by jumping onto tables and over partitions. An employee confronted one of the male subjects in the group and asked him to settle down; that subject exchanged words with the employee then walked out to the parking lot and returned inside carrying a handgun. After a few minutes, the group left the scene in a maroon sedan, possibly a Toyota or Nissan. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:
Home Depot, 1201 Gateway Blvd, 1/12 – 1/18 1:40 p.m. A contractor reported that an unknown person stole his utility trailer from the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Walker Grant School, 1 Learning Ln, 1/18 11:00 a.m. A student reported that his cell phone was stolen from his gym locker. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

200 block Kings Mill Ct, 1/18 – 1/19 12:45 p.m. A resident reported that a compartment containing loose change was stolen from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

500 block Greystone Ct, 1/18 – 1/19 12:00 p.m. A resident reported that prescription medication was stolen from the glove box of his unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1000 block East Kensington Cir, 1/18 – 1/19 5:30 p.m. A resident reported that a laptop computer was stolen from his unlocked vehicle. Two other vehicles on the street also showed evidence of tampering. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1500 block Graham Dr, 1/20 – 1/21 8:30 a.m. A resident reported that a GPS unit and ID badge were stolen from his unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1400 block Saunders Dr, 1/20 – 1/21 9:00 a.m. A resident reported that a GPS unit was stolen from his unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1100 block Farrish Pl, 1/20 – 1/21 2:30 p.m. A resident reported that a gold lighter and other small items of value were stolen from his unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1000 block Hoke Ln, 1/20 2:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A resident reported that a watch was stolen from her bedroom. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:
Carrabas, 1951 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 1/19 10:45 p.m. A manager reported that an unknown person shattered the windshield on his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Commonwealth Building, 2601 Princess Anne St, 1/18 – 1/20 3:15 a.m. An officer patrolling in the area found a glass entrance door that had been shattered. The interior of the building was checked for intruders but nobody was located inside. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1000 block Princess Anne St, 1/20 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person damaged the driver’s side door of his vehicle, apparently using a table leg that was found lying on the ground nearby. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:
Craig Fortney, 55, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 1100 block of Washington Avenue.

Sarah Tighe, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI, refusal to submit to a blood or breath test, and resisting arrest in the 500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

Jeffrey Hunt, 37, of Virginia Beach was arrested for DUI in the 700 block of Kenmore Avenue.

John Blanchette, 39, of Fairfax was arrested for DUI in the 100 block of Greenbrier Drive.

ARRESTS:
Anthony Stewart, 38, of Ruther Glen was arrested for possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.

Stewart Coleman, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

[Name Withheld], 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Virginia Tittermary, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Kristin Jones, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Walter Brunk, 20, of Jamesville was arrested for distribution of marijuana.

Cayden Brehaut, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

Steven Williams, 40, of Philadelphia was arrested for domestic assault and battery, strangulation, and assault and battery.

James Hahn, 30, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery, abduction, and brandishing a firearm.

David Hitchins, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule II narcotic.

Khalil Salahuddin, 23, of Alexandria was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.

Kyle Talley, 24, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Lisa Powers, 43, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Bottom Dollar.

Jean Hopkins, 48, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.

Sanjay Sharma, 44, of Springfield was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.

Printice Meredith, 31, of no fixed address was arrested for shoplifting and on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging him with failure to appear in court.

Brady Harris, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Stafford charging him with failure to appear in court.

Ivone Rocha, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Kristin Frye, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Emily Coffman, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Alecia Milner, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Adam Kotz, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
