Shooting Suspect Turns Self In

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS THURSDAY, JANUARY 5, 2012

UPDATE TO SHOOTING AT WHITE STREET:

Anthony Belgrave, 33, of unknown address was arrested for Belgrave turned himself in at Police Headquarters this morning at 5:00 a.m. and is incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

BURGLARY:

900 block Marye St, Dec. 18 – Jan. 3 7:30 p.m. A resident reported that he returned from a holiday and discovered a screen slashed on the back porch and obvious signs of entry to the home. Nothing appeared to be stolen from the residence. The investigation is ongoing.

900 block Brompton St, Jan 4 7:30 a.m. – 6:15 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered the home while he was at work and stole a game system and a quantity of jewelry. Entry was apparently made by breaking the lock assembly on a window. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

1200 block Littlepage St, Jan. 3 7:45 a.m. – Jan 4 7:30 a.m. A resident reported that a license plate was stolen from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Jan. 5 4:45 a.m. An employee reported that a male subject selected food items from the deli and left the store without paying. The investigation is ongoing.
