Shots Fired During Fight At Aladins Parking Lot

Fredericksburg police had to respond again to Aladins, this time for a fight.

, a restaurant that police have had to respond to numerous times over the past 12 months, was on the police log again this week for a fight in the parking lot on March 18.

Fredericksburg Police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said officers responded to the business on Rt. 3 at about 2 a.m. for a fight in the parking lot. She said witnesses described a group of young men fist fighting and one of the males reportedly shot a gun into the air as he ran from the scene. No one was seriously injured and the armed suspect was gone by the time police got to the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

Aladins has had a host of problems in the past 12 months. The place is a hang-out for young adults, where they have a smoking lounge with Hookahs and flavored tobacco. .

. Other reports of wallets stolen, fights and other crimes have also been on the police report that have been associated with Aladins in the past year.
