Stabbing Follows Scooter Versus Monte Carlo Chase

Woman charged with malicious wounding after vehicle chase, fight.

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS TUESDAY, MAY 17, 2011

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:

Central Station, 1917 Princess Anne St, May 17 2:45 a.m. Police responded to the parking lot for a report of a male and a female fighting. The officer found the two subjects standing next to a Monte Carlo; the female had a knife in her hand and the male had a significant laceration on his finger. A witness reported that he saw the female driving the Monte Carlo and following the male, who was riding a scooter. The witness reported that the female appeared to be trying to strike the male with her car as they drove through the parking lot of Central Station. The female then got out of her car and the two subjects were seen engaging in a physical altercation. Further investigation showed that one of the scooter’s tires was also slashed during the confrontation. Amanda Crelia, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for malicious wounding and destruction of property. Crelia was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.

FRAUD:

Checks Cashed, 1301 Jefferson Davis Hwy, April 15 6 p.m. An employee reported that a male subject cashed a check at the business and the check was later determined to be counterfeit. The investigation is ongoing.

Checks Cashed, 1301 Jefferson Davis Hwy, May 16 3:35 p.m. An employee reported that a male subject attempted to cash a check that had been stolen from a business in Stafford. The suspect left the store prior to police arrival. The suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

V ANDALISM:

100 block Princess Anne St, May 11 – May 16 2 pm. A resident reported that the tires were slashed on his scooter. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Gary Thompson, 46, of Stafford was arrested on warrants from Stafford charging him with sexual battery, threats, disorderly conduct, assault and battery, and abduction.

Shaquan Morgan, 18, of no fixed address was arrested for witness tampering. 

Ellis Autry, 27, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Sheetz. 

Eugene Cunningham, 57, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of cocaine.
