Stabbing Outside Home on Shepherd Street

Also, UPS package stolen from neighbor's front stoop, window broken at The Boutique at Caroline Street.

STABBING:
500 block Shepherd St, 10/28 1:10 a.m. A 33-year-old resident reported that he was returning home with his girlfriend when he saw two unknown male subjects outside of his house. The victim told the subjects to leave, but they continued to approach and made derogatory comments aimed at him and his girlfriend.

A fight ensued and during the assault, the victim was stabbed multiple times in his arm and shoulder. The two suspects were subsequently identified and
located in the area.

One of the suspects, Christopher Cross, 20, of Spotsylvania was charged
with malicious wounding and assault and battery. Cross was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.

The second suspect was released without charges. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:
Alex’s Auto Repair, 1919 Princess Anne St, 10/23 – 10/25 8:00 a.m. The owner reported that an unknown person stole tools from his shop. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

600 block Caroline St, 10/25 4:15 p.m. A witness reported that she saw three teenage white males steal a UPS-delivered package from a neighbor’s front stoop. The investigation is ongoing.

400 block Amelia St, 10/25 9:15 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. An employee of a downtown business reported that an unknown person removed the glass from her driver’s side mirror. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:
Christ Lutheran Church, 1300 Augustine Ave, 10/24 – 10/25 9:15 a.m. A property manager reported that an unknown person broke a window on the church building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Grace Memorial Church, 1600 Stafford Ave, 10/20 - 10/21 12:00 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person broke the glass out of the light pole fixture in front of the church. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

The Boutique at Caroline Street, 726 Caroline St, 10/27 2:00 a.m. A passerby reported that an unknown person broke a hole through the large front window. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Hard Times Café, 314 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 10/26 – 10/27 2:40 a.m. A customer reported that an unknown person scratched and damaged his vehicle in the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:
Kasim Bacote, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Maryland State Police charging him with failure to appear in court.

Robert Pickeral, 30, of Spotsylvania was arrested for fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud.

Sydney Logan, 22, of King George was arrested for inhaling a noxious substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and shoplifting from Walmart.

Tahira Baker, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for conspiracy to commit shoplifting and shoplifting from Five Below and Sports Authority.

Unique Prailow, 19, of Spotsylvania was arrested for conspiracy to commit shoplifting and shoplifting from Five Below and Sports Authority.

James Brown, 60, of Fredericksburg was arrested for attempted felonious assault.

Amy Story, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.

Daniel Boxley, 26, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest.

Nina Strauss, 18, of Annandale was arrested on warrants from Virginia ABC charging her with public intoxication and possession of schedule I,II narcotics.

Deann Plummer, 41, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication and obstruction of justice.

Chameka Day, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for hit and run and reckless driving.

Charles Cutchin, 57, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication after being interdicted.

Gordon Watson, 53, of no fixed address was arrested for domestic assault and battery and preventing another person from calling 911.

Deangelo Poole, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for hit and run and failure to insure a vehicle.

Kevin James, 28, of Danville was arrested for possession of marijuana, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and on a warrant from Newport News charging him with failure to appear in court.

Kevin Lee, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested for hit and run and driving on a revoked license.

Sherry Poole, 41, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
