Stafford Woman Arrested for Malicious Wounding

Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Stafford woman was arrested Wednesday for cutting a man's face with a knife, according to Prince William County Police.

Prince William County Police responded at about 7:50 p.m. to a report of stabbing in the 18400 block of Cabin Rd. in Triangle. 

"The victim, a 59 year old man of Triangle, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated," a police spokesperson said.  "During the encounter, the accused allegedly cut the victim to his face with a knife."  Minor injuries were reported.

Following the investigation, police arrested Jennifer Anne Donly, 24, of Stafford.  She is charged with malicious wounding, and is being held without bond, according to police.
