Suspect Nabbed for Indecent Exposure

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS MONDAY, July  25, 2011

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY:

3300 block Fall Hill Ave, July 22 10:30 p.m. A resident reported that he was walking near Crestview Apartments when he was approached by two male subjects who demanded that he turn over his money and cell phone. The victim did not comply; one of the offenders then struck him across the face before both suspects fled from the area on foot. The suspects were described as a black male and a white male, both in their early 20’s and of medium height and build. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE:

McDonalds, 1212 Jefferson Davis Hwy, July 24 11:20 p.m. Three female friends reported that a male subject exposed himself to them while they were eating dinner at the restaurant. The suspect had left the scene prior to police arrival, but a UMW police officer who assisted with the initial investigation located the suspect and detained him approximately one hour later at the nearby 7-11. The suspect was positively identified as the offender by the reporting witnesses. Steven Blair, 40, of Fredericksburg was arrested for indecent exposure and public intoxication. Blair was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a $2500 bond.

LARCENY:

Olive Garden, 2811 Plank Rd, July 20 8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. A customer reported that her iPad was stolen after she inadvertently left it behind at the restaurant. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Mary Washington Thrift Shoppe, 517 Jefferson Davis Hwy, July 21 6:00 p.m. – July 22 9:00 a.m. The building supervisor reported that coils and compressors were stolen from the rooftop air conditioning units. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

700 block Lee Ave, July 12 (reported July 22) A resident reported that a package containing a prescription medication was stolen from his front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

FasMart, 501 Jefferson Davis Hwy, July 22 4:00 p.m. An employee reported that a male subject stole a beer from the cooler by concealing it in his clothing. No known suspects at this time.

1400 block Princess Anne St, July 22 4:50 p.m. A resident reported that a male subject stole his bicycle from the front yard. The victim briefly chased after the suspect but was unable to catch up to him. The investigation is ongoing.

Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, July 20 8:00 p.m. An employee reported that her wallet was stolen after she inadvertently left it in the ladies room. The wallet was later found in a trash can, but the cash was missing from it. The investigation is ongoing.

1100 block Innis Dr, July 21 – July 22 6:00 p.m. A resident reported that the GPS was stolen from her unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Best Buy, 1541 Carl D Silver Pkwy, July 22 – July 23 7:45 a.m. An employee reported that the lock on his work van was punched out and a number of electronic items were stolen from inside. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Monkees, 827 Caroline St, July 23 2:00 p.m. A manager reported that a female subject stole a purse and sunglasses by concealing them in her bag. The investigation is ongoing.

Firestone, 2708 Fall Hill Ave, July 23 8:30 p.m. – July 24 9:30 a.m. A resident reported that her child car seat was stolen from her unsecured vehicle in the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

600 block Prince Edward St, July 24 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. A Richmond resident reported that his wallet was stolen while he was a guest at a social gathering inside a home. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

2600 block Caroline St, July 17 (reported July 22) A resident reported that the side mirrors on two of his vehicles were broken off. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2500 block Carriage Ln, July 22 12:20 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. A Spotsylvania resident reported that her vehicle was scratched and damaged by a sharp object while parked in the lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Marcus Wright, 25, of Woodbridge was arrested for hit and run.

Charles Rudy, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.

Stephen Nabors, 38, of Bumpass was arrested for domestic assault and battery and violation of a protective order.

Christopher Frederick, 28, of Dumfries was arrested for urinating in public.

Eva Jones, 21, of Elkwood was arrested for public intoxication, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana.

Wesley Petersen, 26, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.

Becky Ellington, 39, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

William Johnson, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.

James Cowger, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for abduction (domestic-related) and manufacture of marijuana.

Jennifer Watson-Kelly, 35, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart. Cullen Jones, 34, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart. Courtney Beeson, 34, of no fixed address was arrested for aggressive solicitation. Cassandra Keels, 43, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery. Elliott Medina, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.
