Suspect Sought in Multiple Armed Robberies

Two robberies occurred Thursday morning and another on June 25.

The Stafford Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect in two robberies which occurred in the morning hours on July 11.

A male subject entered Sally's Beauty Supply at 91 Washington Square in Stafford Thursday morning, displayed a hand gun and demanded money from the employees, Bill Kennedy, Stafford Sheriff's Office spokesperson, said.

A suspect matching the description soon thereafter robbed the Payless Shoe Store on Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Spotsylvania.  A police sketch is attached to this story.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male, 6’1" - 6’3" with black dreads.  He was wearing a white or grey Sean John t-shirt with blue or black faded jeans.  The man had a hand gun.  He may have several gold teeth, according to one witness report.

A gold SUV was seen leaving the scene after the first robbery; it is unknown if this vehicle is related or not, Kennedy said.

The suspect in these two July 11 incidents matches the description of the suspect who robbed the Sally’s Beauty Supply in Spotsylvania County on June 25.

Anyone with information about the suspect or any of these robberies is asked to contact the Stafford Sheriff's Office at 540-658-4400 or 9-1-1.
