Two Men Face Child Porn Charges

Stafford residents jailed on dozens of charges, including possession and reproduction of child pornography

A pair of Stafford men face numerous child pornography charges in two unrelated cases.

Almost a year after a tip spawned a child pornography investigation, Nathan Ryan Miller was arrested this week and charged with 14 counts of possession and reproduction of child pornography, according to Bill Kennedy, Stafford sheriff’s spokesman. Miller, 31, of Ester Drive in Stafford, is being held in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Stafford Detective Darryl Wells presented information gathered during his investigation, including evidence gathered during a search of Miller’s home, to a grand jury, which indicted the suspect on Feb. 7, according to Kennedy. Miller was arrested Tuesday at his home.

The other child pornography suspect was already in the regional jail when 40 new charges were placed against him, said Kennedy.

Mark Andrew Corpora, 38, was indicted by a Stafford grand jury Feb. 7 on 40 child pornography charges, including intent to distribute child pornography. He was already being held on child pornography charges based out of Spotsylvania. Detectives from both jurisdictions searched Corpora’s home on Belmont Court in Stafford and obtained evidence from his computer, according to Kennedy.

The charges for both men are all felonies.

The suspects are scheduled to appear in Stafford Circuit Court on March 17.
