Use Caution For Friday's Law Enforcement United Bike Ride

Stafford County Sheriff's Office asks for motorists to be respectful of the bicyclists Friday for the Law Enforcement United Bike Ride.

At about 2:40 p.m. the Law Enforcement United Bike Ride will be coming into Stafford County near the Falmouth Bridge on Friday May 11 and will be at the Humphrey Center Public Safety Center for a brief stop at about 3:15 p.m.

Stafford County Sheriff's Office spokesman Bill Kennedy said that from there the bike ride will continue on Courthouse Road to Austin Ridge Drive and Mine Road. The cyclists will turn from Mine Road onto Greenspring Drive and then to the hotel on Salisbury Drive.

Between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Saturday, the riders will leave the hotel and travel north on U.S. 1 to Prince William County.  Motorists will notice temporary rolling closing on U.S. 1 North as the bike tour travels through Stafford County until they clear the area.
