Woman Beaten in Broad Daylight

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS MONDAY, MAY 23, 2011

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:

3300 block Fall Hill Ave, May 21 3:30 p.m. A resident reported that she was approached by two male subjects and one female subject in the parking lot of the 7-11. The subjects surrounded the victim and began taunting her, then one of the males forced her to the ground and all three began assaulting her with their fists, feet, and a metal broom handle. The assailants left the scene in a red Saturn and a black Dodge Charger. The victim had facial injuries and bruises on her hands and knees, but she denied the need for medical treatment. The victim was able to describe her assailants and she provided the license plate numbers of both suspect vehicles. During the subsequent investigation, the female suspect was identified and later located at Heritage Park Apartments. Laqueta Webb, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for malicious wounding by mob and incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond. The two male suspects have not yet been identified. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY:

200 block Summit St, May 21 10:30 a.m. -10:30 p.m. A resident reported that she returned home and found her television stolen along with a video game system and a quantity of games. Entry to the home appeared to have been made through a basement window. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

3200 block Normandy Ave, May 16 12 p.m. -May 21 2:15 p.m. A resident reported that her child’s bicycle was stolen from the carport. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

3100 block Village Ln, May 22 12 a.m. -12 p.m. A visitor reported that her prescription medication was stolen from her room. The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:

1300 block Charles St, May 21 4 p.m. -5 p.m. A property manager reported that she found damage inside a recently vacated apartment. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

700 block Mary Ball St, May 21 12 a.m. -10 am. A Stafford resident reported that the windshield on her vehicle was smashed and the hood was dented. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS: Erin Hunter, 30, of Stafford was arrested in the 100 block of Hanover St.

Leon McDaniel, 55, of Leland, North Carolina was arrested in the 1900 block of Plank Rd.

ARRESTS:

Henry Sealock, 47, of no fixed address was arrested for urinating in public.

Michael Edgerton, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.

James Bryant, 54, of Fredericksburg was arrested for attempted malicious wounding.

Jessica Scatchard, 21, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing and possession of alcohol on the riverbank.

Amanda Colocho, 21, of Richmond was arrested for trespassing.

John Levesque, 20, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing and illegal burning on the riverbank.

Jerry White, 20, of Hampton was arrested for trespassing.

Melissa Ownby, 24, of Culpeper was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Jennifer Miller, 19, of Culpeper was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Joshua Golden, 21, of Bristow was arrested for public intoxication.

Hector Dominguez-Vigil, 26, of Oxon Hill, Maryland was arrested for possession of cocaine.
