City's New Year Holiday Schedule
City of Fredericksburg holiday closings and schedule adjustments.
City of Fredericksburg offices will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for the New Year holiday, according to the City's website.
Monday’s trash and recycling will be collected as usual, but there will be no collections on New Year's Day. Tuesday’s trash and recycling will be collected Wednesday, Jan. 2. Collections normally made Wednesday through Friday will occur as usual, according to the City.
The Belman Road Recycling Center and the Stafford Landfill will be closed Jan. 1 and will resume normal hours 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Wednesday.

VRE will operate on an "S" schedule on Monday, Dec. 31, and there will be no VRE service on New Year's Day. Full service will resume Wednesday, Jan. 2.
All branches of the Central Rappahannock Library will close at 3 p.m. Monday, and will remain closed on New Year's Day.
