Public Hearing on Roads Projects Rescheduled

Meeting on Fall Hill Avenue, Mary Washington Boulevard projects moved to Nov. 26 because of Superstorm Sandy.

The public hearing on the Fall Hill Avenue widening and Mary Washington Boulevard extension has been rescheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 26 at James Monroe High School.

The meeting had been scheduled for Oct. 29, but was moved because of weather conditions during Superstorm Sandy.

The hearing will consist of a short presentation at the top of each hour (same presentation each time), with the remainder of time dedicated to attendees viewing preliminary (30 percent) plans and other documents related to the project, according to the city. The materials will be displayed around the room, and citizens may comment on the plans and/or ask questions of the project engineers, city staff and VDOT representatives.
