Fredericksburg Area Snow Cancellations and Delays March 6

Central Rappahannock Regional Library - all branches are closed Wednesday, but online serivces are available.

Federal offices in the DC area are closed. Emergency and telework-ready employees required to work must follow their agency's policies.

Fredericksburg Academy is closed.

Fredericksburg Christian Schools, closed.  Code 0 for 12-month staff.

Fredericksburg City Public Schools will be closed Wednesday.  Code Red for 12-month employees.

UPDATE: Fredericksburg City Government Offices will now be closed Wednesday.  All essential personnel must still report as directed by their supervisors.

Fredericksburg Parks and Recreation has cancelled all activities today.  The Community Center will be open from 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

UPDATE: Fredericksburg Regional Transit (FRED) is now completely closed Wednesday. FRED reports Greyhound has cancelled service today.

Germanna Community College is closed.

King George County Public Schools are closed.  Code 1 for 12 month staff.

Marine Corps Base Quantico operating status is Code Red. The base is closed for normal operation. Only emergency and essential personnel are expected to report to work. Personnel should contact their chain of command for specific command/activity guidance or direction.

Quality Service Review Grand Round Community presentation hosted by the City of Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Departments of Social Services scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday has been cancelled and rescheduled for 10 a.m. March 13 at Salem Fields Community Church.

Rappahannock Area YMCA is closed Wednesday.

Rappahannock United Way is closed, including all tax sites.

Salvation Army Fredericksbrug corps, offices and thrift store are closed Wednesday.

Spotsylvania Citizen Budget Review Committee March 6 public meeting is rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. March 13.

Spotsylvania County Public Schools are closed Wednesday.  Staff code 1.

Spotsylvania County Government Offices are closed.

Stafford County Public Schools are closed March 6.  Employees code 1.

Stafford County Government Offices are closed Wednesday. 

Stafford County Gymnastics Center is closed.

University of Mary Washington Fredericksburg and Stafford campuses are closed; Dahlgren is open.

VRE service is cancelled Wednesday, as well as the VRE online forum and the public hearing in Stafford.
