City of Fredericksburg offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday, according to the city's website.
Monday’s trash and recycling will be collected as usual, but there will be no collections on Tuesday, Christmas Day. Tuesday’s trash and recycling will be collected Wednesday. Collections normally made Wednesday through Friday will occur as usual.
The Belman Road Recycling Center and the Stafford Landfill will be open 8 a.m. to noon Monday. They will be closed Tuesday, Christmas Day, and then resume normal 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. operations Wednesday.
VRE does not provide service on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, according to its website.
