I-95 Daytime Lane Closure Near Quantico
VDOT reports the right lane of I-95 southbound will close in Stafford County, near Exit 148, Dec. 17 - 20.
The right lane of Interstate 95 southbound will close next week during daytime hours near mile marker 147, just south of Exit 148 at Quantico Marine Corps Base, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) said in a press release.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 17 through Thursday, Dec. 20, the right lane will be closed each day from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
VDOT continues to repair the slope of the roadway over approximately 200 yards. Due to the materials being used, this work must be performed when temperatures are warmer during daytime hours.

Motorists may encounter delays as they approach the work zone, VDOT said.
