Democrat Sen. Mark Warner is holding a big lead in his reelection campaign against former Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie, a new poll shows.

Warner has, however, dipped below 50 percent, according to Quinnipiac University.

Warner leads Gillespie by 46 percent-31 percent in the poll, with 6 percent of voters backing Libertarian Robert Sarvis. About half of voters — 49 percent — say Warner deserves reelection. The live-caller poll of 1,288 registered voters was conducted from March 19-24 and has a margin of error of 2.7 percentage points.

Shripathi Kamath March 29, 2014 at 11:29 AM Raconteur March 29, 2014 at 10:33 AM Warner's voting record shows he has voted for everything Obama wanted and Harry Reid laid on his plate. His vote has been straight party line 97% of the time. ___________________________________________________ And he is unique in that respect because...it is unusual for a politician to vote along party lines? ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ No, It shows how willing he is to please his masters and vote on anything they tell him to, no matter how badly it will affect the People. __________________________________________________ "There is no member of Congress who read the entire Obamacare legislation, before voting for it." __________________________________________________ This is true because someone screeches it on FOX News? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Name one congresscritter who claimed they read the legislation before they voted for it. __________________________________________________ " Why didn't Warner amend Obamacare if there were such glaring problems with it?" __________________________________________________ Because he is a senator, not king. For some reason there is this perception that a senator can do all these things by himself. ________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ He never offered an amendment or tried to change Obamacare. (congressional record) _________________________________________________ But here's the thing, let's stipulate that Obamacare has problems. Why hasn't any Republican suggested the replacement for it? ________________________________________________ _____________________________________________ They have. Reid won't let the legislation even be discussed and certainly won't let it be brought to the Senate floor. Just because you didn't hear it on MSNBC or SNL, you believe otherwise.

No Kathy, all he did was file a brief, which is what lawyers do. By your estimation, defense lawyers are building the constitution. Please consult a news source for your information.

You make the claim, you provide the evidence. You claimed that NO one had read it. "Name one congresscritter who claimed that they had read the Patriot Act before they voted for it." is as vacuous. ___________________________________________________ "They have. Reid won't let the legislation even be discussed and certainly won't let it be brought to the Senate floor. Just because you didn't hear it on MSNBC or SNL, you believe otherwise." ___________________________________________________ LOL. The House has repealed Obamacare 50 times. How many times have they passed this legislation that Reid has prevented discussion in the ... wait, Reid cannot prevent discussion in the House, can he? And it is not as if the House wingnuts care whether or not Reid would allow a vote. So, what are the salients points other than "free market solutions"?

Mark Warner is nothing but a rich guy that does whatever Obama wants. He has no independent thought of his own. Hey Mark I thought you said we could keep our insurance plans? Tell us some more lies.
