Virginia Christian Alliance Recognizes Senator Reeves
The award goes to a freshman legislator who stands up for conservative Christian principles.
The Virginia Christian Alliance awarded Sen. Bryce Reeves, R-Spotsylvania, with the Freshman Legislator of the Year award during a ceremony Monday.
Greene Hollowell, the founder, and Gene Blake, chairman of the board, made the announcement Monday. The award goes to a freshman legislator who stands up for conservative Christian principles on key legislation in the General Assembly.
"I was also honored to be standing with a dear friend and fellow senator, Chuck Colgan, who received an award as well for standing up for the right to life," Reeves said in a statement.

Reeves is a small business owner who serves on the Courts of Justice, General Laws and Technology, Privileges and Elections, and Rehabilitation and Social Services committees in the Virginia State Senate. He has been married to his wife Anne for 20 years and has two children, Nikki and Jack. They live in Spotsylvania County.
