Weigh In on City's Development at Public Meeting Wednesday

The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 715 Princess Anne Street in Fredericksburg.

Fredericksburg residents have a chance to weigh in on the city’s Comprehensive Plan Wednesday evening.

The Fredericksburg Planning Commission is updating its Comprehensive Plan, which it describes as “one of the key documents in setting public policy for the city.” As part of the update process, city officials are looking for comments from residents and property owners “about the direction and character of development in the city.”

The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 715 Princess Anne Street in Fredericksburg.

The Comprehensive Plan in place now was adopted in September 2007.

In addition, residents and property owners are invited to review the Fredericksburg Comprehensive Plan Revision Planning Commission Public Hearing Document prior to Wednesday evening’s meeting.
