Kindergarten Registration Day Tuesday
Hugh Mercer Elementary School hosting enrollment events April 8.
Alright parents of 5-year-olds, you don't need the book bag, yet. But you will need to go ahead and register for Kindergarten, starting Tuesday, April 8.
Hugh Mercer Elementary School is hosting two sessions on Tuesday and enrollment will continue until May 9. The school is located at 2100 Cowan Blvd., Fredericksburg.
Children who turn 5 on or before Sept. 30 are eligible to register for fall admission. Parents will need proof of city residency, a birth certificate and immunization and physical records.
There will be two registration periods on Tuesday, from 9-11 a.m. and from 5-7 p.m. Parents unable to register Tuesday can still register from 9-11 a.m. any day from April 9 to May 9.
