Relaxing class at end of the day.Gentle movements to work out the kinks and stiffness in our bodies resulting from a full day of living - be it a sedentary day or an active day.All poses can be modified with blankets, straps, bolsters and chairs to fit our unique and beautiful bodies.We begin with centering ourselves by turning our attention to our breath and becoming mindful of how we feel. Then we start warming up the body with easy movements that flow with our breath. We progress to a few standing poses that help release tight muscles as well as build strength. Then ease down to our mats for stretching, and supported poses. We end with savasana (final relaxation), a peaceful, meditative time to fully let go and relax, with an option to have a cozy blanket, warm lavendar scented washcloth, eye pillow and bolsters or pillows to support our limbs or back.
