James Monroe Seniors Graduate Friday

James Monroe High School's graduation starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday at 's Anderson Center.

Seniors are asked to arrive at by 11:30 a.m. on Friday for their senior lunch that will be served in the commons. At 1 p.m., graduates will leave by bus to the University of Mary Washington for the graduation rehearsal.

Seniors are to return to the Anderson Center at 6:30 p.m. and must use the back entrance.

Parking for the graduation will be available at James Monroe High School with shuttle service to University of Mary Washington’s Anderson Center starting at 6:15 p.m. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes thereafter. 

Parking will also be available at the following locations: UMW parking deck; the lower lot behind the Anderson Center; and Lot A (located at Sweet Frogs, 1211 Jefferson Davis Highway). Everyone is encouraged to use the preferred parking lots at James Monroe High School to utilize the shuttle service and Lot A.

The only parking lot that will have a shuttle service to the Anderson Center will be the parking lot at James Monroe High School.
