Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity Names New Executive Director

Tom Carlson replaces outgoing executive director Bruce Seger.

Tom Carlson is the new executive director of the Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity.

Carlson brings to the position years of business experience.  He recently worked for Northrop Grumman Corporation as an International Market Development Manager focusing on Middle East marketing.  He is a retired Navy Captain, Surface Warfare Officer, with over 15 years in command and, before retiring, taught Strategic Leadership at National Defense University. 

Carlson replaces outgoing executive director Bruce Seger, who served in that position for over eight years.

"I will stay engaged with the affiliate by serving on the Board of Directors and look forward to many more opportunities to serve the hardworking families in our community," Seger said.  He is now vice president of programs on the board.
