Tree Fredericksburg Founder Up For Conservation Award

Anne Little, the founder of Tree Fredericksburg, is a finalist for the Cox Conserves Heroes award. She needs your votes.

Tree Fredericksburg founder Anne Little is a finalist for the Cox Conserves Heroes award and she needs votes to win. If she wins, she'll get $10,000 for Tree Fredericksburg to plant at least 200 more trees.

Virginia Cox has chosen three finalists and created a website where people can vote. Here is what Cox wrote about Little:

Anne launched Tree Fredericksburg with the goal of planting and sustaining an urban forest in our city. She has not only been successful, but she now has legions of volunteers that are dedicated to the cause- including lots of kids. Clearly focused on the future, Anne leads the city's Clean and Green Commission and also supports the local Sierra Club. Nonprofit of choice: Tree Fredericksburg
