The first weekend of August is full of entertainment options in Fredericksburg. Click the hyperlink at each event for more information.

The 275th Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair
Daily through Sunday, August 4.
Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.
The Fredericksburg Fairgrounds, 2400 Airport Ave., Fredericksburg
General admission tickets are $8 for ages 4–54 and $6 for ages 55 and up. Children 3 years or younger are admitted free of charge. Rides are not included in admission price.

Family Table Restaurant Week kicks off at this month's First Saturday Expanded Market.  The street is closed to enable a larger showing of to bring vendors, wine tastings and live entertainment.

Flags and Signals Children's Program at the Fredericksburg Battlefield
Saturday, Aug. 3, 11 a.m.
Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center, 1013 Lafayette Blvd.
Activities will last about one hour and are recommended for kids ages 6 - 12.

$5 per person, $4 Bluemont Friends & Seniors, $2 kids under 12.

Swing Dance at Picker's Supply
