The exhibition, organized by the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, examines the central role costume design plays in cinematic storytelling. VMFA is premiering Hollywood Costume in the United States, and is the only East Coast venue for the exhibition. The exhibit is at VMFA through Feb. 17, 2014.
Entry times for the exhibit are every 30 minutes, beginning at 10 a.m. Tickets must be purchased for a specific time. Admission is:
- Free for VMFA members, children 6 and under, and active-duty military personnel and their immediate families.
- $20 for adults
- $16 for adult groups of 10+ (please click here)
- $16 for seniors 65+
- $10 for youth (7 – 17) and students with school ID
VMFA is offering special events in conjunction with the exhibit Hollywood Costume. These include a movie-a-day extravaganza and a photo exhibit featuring more than 90 original vintage prints of stars.
