Fredericksburg Restaurant Week Begins Friday

Two-course lunches priced at $10.14 and three-course dinners priced at $20.14.

Fredericksburg's Ninth Annual Restaurant Week is scheduled Jan. 17 - 27, 2014.

More than 20 participating restaurants in the historic district of downtown Fredericksburg will offer prix fixe two-course lunches priced at $10.14 and three-course dinners priced at $20.14.  Some menus are available online.

According to Fredericksburg's Department of Economic Development and Tourism, sponsor of Restaurant Week, participating restaurants include:

    •    J. Brian’s Tap Room
    •    Jake and Mike’s Restaurant

    •    La Petite Auberge
    •    The Orion Sushi Bar and Ultra Lounge
    •    Poppy Hill Tuscan Kitchen
    •    Ristorante Renato
    •    The Sunken Well Tavern

“Fredericksburg’s historic district is a mecca for lovers of great food,” said Karen Hedelt, director of economic development for the City of Fredericksburg. “Our annual Restaurant Week is a celebration of the exquisite flavors and great taste our locally-owned restaurants offer. Our great cuisine, coupled with the cultural and historical significance of the area, offers an ideal getaway for travelers.”
